The Nicholls softball team will host its final weekend home series against McNeese State University, beginning with a doubleheader at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26. Sunday’s game will begin at 1 p.m.
Seniors Jessica Barksdale, Krystalin Ensminger, Kat Harrell, Rachel Pugh and Amy Thibodeaux will play for the last time this weekend in the Colonel Softball Complex. They all will be honored throughout the course of the weekend.
The Colonels (25-25, 12-12) are coming off of being swept by defending Southland Conference Champions Sam Houston State University (29-25, 14-10) this last weekend, while McNeese State University (19-33, 12-12) took two-of-three from University of Central Arkansas (5-36, 3-20).
