Takin’ A Smoke-Free Break Concert
Enjoy music in a smoke-free environment!
Nicholls will host Takin’ A Smoke-Free Break concert featuring HIPBOOT JOE from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Guidry Stadium tailgating area. The event, sponsored by a grant from the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living, is free to students, faculty, staff and the general public.
The afternoon will include free pizza, drinks, chips and cookies; giveaways for the first 50 people; and the announcement of the I AM Worth It! Weightloss Challenge. HIPBOOTJOE, a band gaining popularity on the Gulf Coast, will perform its unique “southern-fried country/rock” music. The event will be totally tobacco-free.
