The Nicholls baseball team will host a three-game series — its last of the season — against Southeastern Louisiana Univeristy at Didier Field. Games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15; 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 16; and 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17.

This season, all Nicholls students will have their name entered into a drawing for $100 at each home baseball game. If the winner is not present, the money will roll over and be added to the next game’s drawing. By the end of the season, the Student Government Association and baseball team will have given away $2700 to lucky Nicholls students. Students are reminded that game admission is free with their Colonel Card.

Congratulations Nicholls graduates!

Nicholls State University commencement exercises will be held on Saturday, May 17, in Stopher Gymnasium, where more than 500 degrees will be conferred.

Graduates from the College of Business Administration, College of Education and University College will attend the 10 a.m. ceremony. At 2 p.m., graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Nursing and Allied Heath and The John Folse Culinary Institute will receive their degrees.

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu will be the principal speaker at both ceremonies.
