WAL-MART AND NICHOLLS UNITE TO PROMOTE COLONEL PRIDE
The entire community is invited to a 5 p.m. pep rally at the Thibodaux Wal-Mart on Friday, Oct. 17, to help kick off Nicholls State University’s first home football game of the season—slated for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m.
Featuring remarks from Dr. Stephen T. Hulbert, university president, and Jay Thomas, head football coach, the pep rally will begin near the corner of the ladies clothing and jewelry departments.
The festivity will also include a performance by the Nicholls cheerleaders. Student athletes and coaches will be on hand to meet the public and distribute schedule cards and posters. The football, baseball and men’s and women’s basketball teams are scheduled to attend, and refreshments will be available.
