Nicholls Freshman Orientation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

Parents Orientation begins with check in from 5:30-6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3 in the Cotillion Ballroom Lobby, followed by a question and answer session with university staff.

Check-in for students on Thursday, June 4 will begin at 12:45 p.m. in the Peltier Auditorium lobby. The program begins at 1 p.m. and concludes at about 8 p.m.

Federal Judge Yvette Kane will be the principal speaker Saturday, May 23, when Nicholls State University confers more than 500 degrees at its spring commencement in Stopher Gymnasium.

Judge Kane will speak at 10 a.m. to graduates of the College of Business Administration, Nursing and Allied Health, and University College. At 2 p.m., she will address graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and the John Folse Culinary Institute.

The university bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the day of commencement.
