Hollywood celebrities and Louisiana dignitaries will join the Los Angeles Connection Comedy Theater Improv Troupe for an evening of dinner and entertainment.

Marilynne Robinson, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for her novel “Gilead” will present a lecture entited “Is There One American Culture?” on Nov. 13, 2009.

The series will consist of a question and answer session with Robinson at 10:45 a.m. in Le Bijou Theater. A reception will precede the lecture at 5:30 p.m. in the Ponder Room of Powell Hall. Lecture follows in Powell Auditorium at 6 p.m. (more…)
