The Fletcher Lecture Series Committee of Nicholls State University is pleased to announce the 2007 Fletcher Lecture Series, featuring Dr. Gerald Early, a nationally recognized essayist and critic of American culture
Each year since 1984, the Fletcher Lecture Series has brought a renowned scholar or creative writer to the Nicholls community. A question and answer session with Early will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in Le Bijou Theater. Early’s lecture, entitled “The End of the World as We Know It: War and Social Change” will be at 6 p.m. in Talbot Theater. Both events are free and open to the public.
