Contractual Opportunities

Purpose
To ensure qualified professionals are subcontracted for service provision.

Policy
The NSU-FSC staff will subcontract services with qualified professionals to secure the provision of accessible services to consumers.

ALL SUBCONTRACTED STAFF MUST MEET THE IDENTIFIED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICE PROVISION TO FSC CONSUMERS.

Intervention Services
Providers are required to have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field that renders qualification to facilitate therapy and/or counseling services. Providers must hold appropriate licensure in field of practice (LCSW, LPC, etc) and must also possess current lliability insurance.

– Current Vita / Resume
– List of Continuing Education and Trainings attended and/or Specializations attained in the past year.
– Proof of Licensure
– Proof of Liability Insurance
– Proof of Automobile Insurance and Copy of Driver’s License (if planning to transport consumers)
– Signed Confidentiality Statement

Psychological Evaluations Services
Providers are required to have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and hold appropriate licensure in field of practice; provider must also possess current liability insurance.

Skill-Building / Educational Services
Providers are required to have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field and be enrolled in supervision toward licensure in field of practice. Providers must possess liability insurance. Provider may be classified aas a master’s Intern who is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Social Work, Psychology or other related field and is completing field placement requirements at the NSU-FSC. Provider must possess liability insurance under the auspices of the educational institution providing the master’s training.

– Certificate of Licensure Supervision and/or Proof of Enrollment in Master’s Program with Intern classification in Field Work.

– Proof of Automobile Insurance and Copy of Driver’s License (if planning to transport consumers)
– Signed Confidentiality Statement

Buddy Up Mentoring Services
Providers are required to be at least 21 years of age and willing to commit to a 5 month relationship as a positive adult role model. Providers must possess a valid LA driver’s license with current automobile insurance. Providers must be able to present criminal background clearance from local sheriff’s department.

Consultation Services
Providers are required to meet the same qualifications stated for intervention services; in addition, provider must possess specialized experience in field to provide consultative and supervisory expertise (client-centered consultation, program-center consultation).

Support Staff Services
Providers are required to be an NSU student who is classified in good standing as a Family and Consumer Sciences major and possesses basic clerical, courier and organization skills with an interest in case management.

Get Connected Group Leader Services
Providers are required to be at least 18 years of age, present criminal background clearance, possess knowledge of child growth and development, demonstrate the ability to model appropriate behavior and social skills.

Get Connected Facilitator Services
Providers are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work or other related field with the ability to facilitate therapeutic and experiential youth groups.

Get Connected Administrative Liaison Services
Providers are required to have a Master’s Degree or be enrolled in a Master’s program in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Higher Education or other related field and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, multi-media skills, organizational skills and also possess prior administrative experience.

Other
Unpaid opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students who are fulfilling internship, field placement and/or practicum requirements are accepted; paid graduate assistantships also available.
