Le Cirque Program Manager – Family Service Center
Monica Oncale, LCSW-BACS, Program Manager of Le Cirque Living Skills Program is a licensed clinical social worker and board approved clinical supervisor. In Fall 2006, Ms. Oncale led a senior class in the development of the framework for the community based program, known as Le Cirque. In Spring 2007, a group of 75 service learning students implemented the living skills program. The program continues to serve as a field based learning experience for over 60 service learning students each semester. In addition to her responsibilities within the Le Cirque Living Skills Program, she is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Nicholls State University. Other experiences include teaching graduate clinical courses at the Tulane School of Social Work, operating a private psychotherapy practice, specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families and providing consultations to local social services agencies in the area.
Ms. Oncale’s education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child, Family, Social Services from Nicholls State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University.
