To help you keep track of the courses that you need to take to get your degree, your Interdisciplinary Studies advisor uses a kind of “curriculum map” or checklist. The checklists show you what courses you need to take to obtain an Associate or a Bachelor of General Studies degree.
Notice that the checklists are divided into groups of courses that you must take. One large group, “the General Education group” contains courses that all students must take before graduating. Another important group are those courses that are requirements within the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies.
