Graduate Assistants

Graduate assistants (GA) are employed by the University on a one-semester basis.  Contracts call for 20 hours of work per week (16 hours in a summer session).

Non-teaching assistants are required to assist Records and Registration during all registration periods as needed.

A student must have been accepted into a graduate program to be considered for an assistantship.  Admission to the University as a graduate student is not sufficient.  Questions as to whether a particular student has been admitted should be answered by the graduate coordinator in the students college.

For more information, or to apply for an assistantship, see the Application and Guidelines for Graduate Assistants.
