 Homecoming Week Kick-Off 10 a.m.-2 p.m. “Paint the Town Red” Day of Service and Nicholls Can! Project will kick off Homecoming week by beautifying the City of Thibodaux. Celebrate our community through service. Open to the entire campus community. For additional information about the Nicholls Can! Oct. 7		 Homecoming Kick-Off BBQ: 4-6 pm Held on the green space beteen Acadia Drive and La Maison du Bayou apartments. Sponsored by Student Organizations.

Oct. 9		 Pep Rally and Court Presentation:  Noon in front of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union. The Homecoming Court will be announced. In case of inclement weather activites will move into the lobby area of the Student Union. Sponsored by the Student Programming Association, Student Goverment Association, Nicholls Band, and Nicholls Cheerleaders.Flag Football: 6 p.m. at the new Harold J. Callais recreation field. Sponsored by S.E.A.L.S.

 Wednesday, Oct. 10 Student Homecoming Breakfast and Dance: 9 p.m.- Midnight in the Galliano Dining Hall and Student Union Ballroom. The breakfast will end at 11 p.m. and dance continues until midnight. Sponsored by Sodexo and the Student Programming Association.

Judging of Homecoming Displays
Thursday, Oct. 11 Pirogue Races: 2-5 p.m. on the bayou side of La 1. Sponsored by Student Progamming Association.Fall Play Almost, Maine 7 p.m. in Talbot Hall. Sponsored by the Nicholls Players. Reservations may be made in advance by calling (985) 448-4586 or tickets will be available at the door.

    		 Nicholls Alumni Federation John Brady Golf Tournament: 8 a.m. La Tour Golf Course, shotgun start $150 per golfer. 18 holes of golf; four-person scramble. Fee includes golf cart, green fee, tournament shirts, refreshments and food on the course, team photo with Gary Barbaro, (former Nicholls State University and NFL standout and 2011 Homecoming Golf Tournament Chair), and two tickets to the Homecoming Reception and Pep Rally.Nicholls State University vs. Southeastern Louisiana University Soccer Match 4 p.m. at the Nicholls Soccer field.Colonel Alive at Five: 5-8 p.m. featuring We the Kings with SightinSound as the opening act, in the parking lot near the tennis courts.  Gates open at 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Student Programming Association.

Homecoming Reception and Pep Rally: 4-6 p.m. in the Betsy Cheramie Ayo Hall parking lot with the Bollinger Memorial Student Union as a rain site. The class of 1962 will be honored during the Reception.-Awards presentaion for Golf Tournament

– Homecoming Court introduction. - Pep Rally at 5:15 featuring the Pride of Nicholls Band and Cheerleaders at the reception.
