Lloyd, R&B singer, will be the feature performer. Since 2004, the New Orleans native has released numerous top ten hits, including Lay It Down. He has also collaborated with numerous artists including 50 cent, Ludacris, and Ashanti. Lloyd’s latest album, King of Hearts, is also a top ten album on the Billboard charts. The Ta Ta Destroyers, local band from Houma, will be the opening act.
Before the concert begins, there will be many fun activities set up for students to participate in. Some activities include a dunking booth, free throw shooting contest, pie/hot dog eating contest. All campus organizations are encouraged to participate in the event. Any organization can sponsor an informational booth or some sort of activity like those previously mentioned.
