NICHOLLS STATE UNIVERSITY 2008 HOMECOMING DISPLAY RULES
“NIGHTMARE IN COLONEL COUNTRY”
Opponent: Central Arkansas Mascot: Bears School Colors: Purple & Gray
Homecoming Display Rules:
-There will be four (4) categories: 1. Greek, 2. residence Halls, 3. Other Organizations, 4. NSU Community
-DEADLINE to enter is 4:00 p.m. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17,2008
-Only ONE display will be allowed per organization
-For judging purposes, each organization must identify its display by placing a sign in front of the display.
-Switching of location IS NOT ALLOWED. If the display is not in its designated location your organization will be disqualified.
-Displays will also be disqualified if they are considered to be obscene in any way.
Criteria for Judging:
JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2008.
-Overall effectiveness of display: 1. Neatness, 2. Color 30 points
-Originality: 1. Idea, 2. Theme 40 points
-Creativity: 1. Use of Materials, 2. Work and effort put into display 30 points
A PLAQUE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FIRST PLACE WINNER IN THE NSU COMMUNITY CATEGORY AT THE PEP RALLY ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2008.
