All unmarried full-time undergraduate students are required to live in on-campus residence halls as long as space is available unless the student:
- is living with his/her parents, grandparents or married sibling and commuting daily to Nicholls from their home,
- is married or a single parent,
- is a nontraditional student or
- has a financial, medical or personal hardship.
Students desiring to live off campus, who do not fall under an approved exemption, may live off campus after earning 90 credit hours and submitting an exemption application.
After you are admitted to Nicholls, you must submit an On-Campus Residence Exemption Application or the Nicholls Housing and Food Service Contract.
For more information on exemptions, refer to the On-Campus Residence Exemption Application.
