Roommate Selection at Nicholls
The Office of Residence Life has developed two ways to help you in the roommate selection process.
Roommate Matching Socials
![]() |
Each year, the Office of Housing conducts Residence Hall Open House programs. At these programs, students take part in a Roommate Matching Social. The social offers students the opportunity to talk to other students who are without residence hall roommates for the fall semester. At the end of the night, students can request to be roommates with someone they met at the event.
Dates for Roommate Matching Socials are as follows:
- Wednesday, April 16, 2008
- Wednesday, June 4, 2008
Check-in for each social will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the program lasting from 6 to 8 p.m. each night. The program begins in the Student Union snack bar. A program for parents is held in LeBijou Theater. Students can RSVP or get more information by calling the Office of Housing at 985.447.7244.
Roommate Selection Questionnaire
The Roommate Selection Questionnaire (doc) is used to match up residence hall students who have not requested a roommate through their contract or a Roommate Matching Social.
