POSITION:
Assistant Professor for Athletic Training Science, Department of Allied Health Sciences
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenure track, Assistant Professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences. Academic year appointment, (9 month), effective August 2008. Faculty position responsible for teaching undergraduate athletic training science courses; supervising and instructing athletic training students in laboratory and clinical settings, coordination of off-campus clinical education sites; advising; and service to the department, college, and university as well as to the profession and general community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate prepared (ABD considered) relevant to athletic training or exercise science; teaching experience in athletic training and clinical practice experience with BOC certified athletic trainer with minimum of 2 years experience preferred; State of Louisiana licensure (or eligible).
RANK AND SALARY:
