Operations Management/Management Science, Assistant/Associate Professor
POSITION:
Assistant/Associate Professor of Operations Management/Management Science (Full-Time, Tenure-Track, Nine-Month Faculty Position, Beginning Fall 2008)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The faculty will have primary responsibility for teaching operations management and quantitative decision-making courses, as well as introduction to business and possibly other business courses in his/her particular area of interest. In addition to a commitment to teaching excellence, faculty members are expected to have a commitment to, and ability for scholarly research. Faculty members will also have service and academic advising responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An earned doctorate in business with a major in Management, Information Systems, or a related field from an AACSB accredited school is required; ABD near completion will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence as well as evidence of and/or potential for scholarly productivity.
RANK AND SALARY:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International at the undergraduate and master’s levels and also has separate accounting accreditation. There are four recently Endowed Chairs and nine Endowed Professorships in the College. The College of Business has technology in every classroom, including computers, projectors, DVD players, and Internet access.
