Interactive Colonel Access Network (I.C.A.N.)

From the ICAN log in page, enter your Student ID Number (Campus Wide ID or Social Security Number) and your PIN, then Click Log in. Once you have logged onto your account, use the navigation bar or site map to access any of the Student features on your account.

• Under Financial Aid on the blue navigation bar, click “Select Award Year”

  Select the appropriate Award Year, then click Submit. Once you select an award year, you will be returned to the last page you visited.

• Student Requirements

  Select “Student Requirements” to view the status of your required documents for the specified award year. If any documents have not been received, use the links under Attachments to print these documents (if available).

• Award Information by Year

  Select “Award Information by Year” to view the status of your financial aid awards.

• Cost of Attendance

  Select “Cost of Attendance” to view your cost of attendance for the award year. This is only an estimate of the expenses you will most likely encounter during the specified award year and is based on the ESTIMATED cost associated with attending Nicholls. This is NOT the amount you are required to pay.

• Satisfactory Academic Progress

  Select “Academic Progress” to view the status of your Academic Progress. Unsatisfactory academic performance can affect eligibility for federal, state, and institutional financial assistance.
