Interactive Colonel Access Network (I.C.A.N.)

If you have a zero or negative on your account summary,
( for example $0 or or a -$amount )

1. Click the Login to ICAN text at the top left of the NSU homepage
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and click the “Please click here to enter Nicholls State University — ICAN System”
3. Click “Enter Student Services”
4. Type in your Campus Wide ID (or Social Security Number) and your PIN number.
5. From the Registration menu, select “Drop or Add Classes”
6. There will be a “Register this course to activate your classes” course (course number 09999) listed in your “permits” section of the screen. From the Action menu, select “Register”.
7. Once you are registered in this class, your schedule will be activated in the next overnight process that the university performs.
