Enjoy a live performance of African drumming and dance presented by teachers and students from the Lafourche Parish School System. Also participating are Dr. Christine Hypolite, Nicholls interim department head and associate professor of teacher education, and Nicholls teacher education students.

International Poetry Reading

Ellender Room, Ellender Memorial Library

Dr. Jean-Mark Sens, French-born poet and Nicholls assistant librarian at the Ellender Memorial Library, hosts an international poetry reading featuring Dr. Phanuel Egeiuru, professor emeritus at Loyola University, and other international readers of poetry.
