Join host Dr. Jean-Mark Sens, French-born poet and Nicholls assistant librarian of the Ellender Memorial Library, as he welcomes four talented wordsmiths to share their poetic creations through readings of their works. New Orleans native Dave Brinks is the editor of “YAWP: a Journal of Poetry & Art” and founder of The New Orleans School for the Imagination. Dr. Richard Collins, a native of Oregon, is the chair of the Department of Arts, English and Humanities at Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Denise Rogers, a native of St. Louis, Mo., is an instructor of literature, writing and humanities at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. A native of Galliano, Dr. Martha Serpas is an associate professor of English at the University of Tampa and the recipient of the 2000 David Delo Faculty Research Fellowship.
