Becky LeBlanc
Becky Jones LeBlanc was born and raised in
Four years later, LeBlanc moved to 29 Palms,
For the next 10 years, LeBlanc spent her time raising four children, serving as president of the Thibodaux Service League, PTC president and School Board member of St. Joseph Elementary, graduate assistant to Dr. Jim Barr in the Education Department at Nicholls, 7th grade English teacher at St. Genevieve School, and American Literature teacher at Vandebilt Catholic High School. She came to Nicholls in 1995 as an Instructor of English and developed the first online courses in the Department of Language and Literature.
Mrs. LeBlanc currently serves as a member of the Faculty Senate at Nicholls, a member of the University Distance Education Committee, secretary of the Fletcher committee, chairman of the L&L Department Technology/WWW Committee, member of the Freshman English Committee, chairman of the department Recruitment Committee. She teaches English 101, English 102, English 255, English 256, and online courses in English 255 and 256.
