Hall of Fame

Each year (Past Inductees), the Center recognizes up to four Louisiana women who have made contributions to our state, nation and world by inducting them into the Louisiana Center for Women and Government Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony takes place in the spring and has had distinguished speakers (Past Key Note Speakers).

Dr. Dolores Spikes (Baton Rouge), nominated by Region 3 (Capital Area)

Kitty DeGree (Monroe), nominated by Region 8 (Northeast Louisiana)

Blue Ribbon Award:
WWL Morning Show, Eric Paulsen and Sally Ann Roberts, hosts;

Lifetime Achievement Award:
Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, first woman Governor and first woman
