Chemistry Resources
Most of our chemistry books and journals can be found in the 540 section. Journals are located on the third floor of the library, general collection books on the second floor. Chemistry reference books can also be found on second floor in the Reference 540 section. This is a separate section from the general collection. Some of the more important titles for research include the following:

Databases
Databases that help you find journal articles can be found on the library page under “Electronic Research Databases”. Many of these databases will give you full text articles that you will be able to print from your house. If you use Academic Search Premier (this will give you the most full text articles but is not as professional as other databases), be sure to limit your search to academic journals since popular magazines are included here.
Science & Technology Collection contains over 800 leading full text journals covering relevant aspects of the scientific and technical community. Topics include aeronautics, astrophysics, chemistry, computer technology, geology, aviation, physics, archaeology, and materials science. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 1,700 publications.
Arts and Sciences Collections offers full-text access to hundred of titles in many disciplines of the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, business and education. JSTOR is an archive and most of its journals have a 3-5 year moving wall.
Academic Search Premier is a large multi-disciplinary academic database that contains over 4,000 full-text titles. Over 3,100 of these titles are peer-reviewed.
Biological Abstracts is a complete collection of bibliographic references to life science journal literature published internationally from 1969 to the present.
Electronic Journal Service allows full text access to many journals that are available in print in the library.
WebFeat allows you to search all card catalogs and all databases at once.
