Organizational Awards will be selected by a committee based upon nominations in the following categories:
| Student Organization of the Year |
| This award recognizes 1 club or organization that has made significant contributions to the campus community through sponsorship of educational programs and activities that support the mission of the institution. This organization had been a model for effective membership and fiscal management. When nominating an organization for this award, please give specific examples of contributions made to the campus community and explain in detail why this organization is deserving of this award. | Best New Student Organization of the Year |
| This award is given to 1 new student organization. This organization will have demonstrated involvement in the Nicholls State University community, creativity in programming and will have made a positive impact within the past two years on campus. When nominating an organization for this award, please give specific examples of contributions made to the campus community and explain in detail why this organization is deserving of this award. Nominate an organization for Best New Student Organization of the Year! |
| Organization Program of the Year |
| This award is presented to 1 student organization for a program that demonstrates excellence in planning, advertisement, execution and overall management. Preference will be given to programs that are new to the Nicholls Community. Originality, creativity, popularity (attendance), educational value, and entertainment value, are all variables that will be considered in the selection of the recipient of this award. Nominate a program for Organization Program of the Year! |
| Advisor of the Year |
| This award is presented to 1 advisor who goes above and beyond the call of duty to facilitate the success of the student organization they advise. Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to student learning and development outside of the classroom, have substantial involvement with their organization(s) (attend meetings and programs regularly), and demonstrate support and appreciation for the role of co-curricular experiences as part of undergraduate education. When nominating an individual, please be specific as to why the individual qualifies for the award. Nominate an advisor for Advisor of the Year! |
