Student Choice Awards
The Student Choice Awards will be given out based on nominations and voting by students. Awards will be given out in the following categories:
- Most Athletic Male
Awarded to a male Nicholls student who has excelled in non-varsity athletic competition. Nominees may include intramural athletes, sports club athletes, or students who simply stand out due to their demonstrated athletic ability. Nominees should be self-driven, hard working, and possess a healthy, positive sportsmanship attitude.
- Most Athletic Female
Awarded to a female Nicholls student who has excelled in non-varsity athletic competition. Nominees may include intramural athletes, sports club athletes, or students who simply stand out due to their demonstrated athletic ability. Nominees should be self-driven, hard working, and possess a healthy, positive sportsmanship attitude.
- Most Talented Male
Awarded to a male Nicholls student who has demonstrated his outstanding ability as an artist or artisan. Nominees may include outstanding singers, musician, dancers, performers, poets, craftsman, painters, sculptors, designers, or related talents. Nominees should excel, in part, due to their love of the medium.
- Most Talented Female
Awarded to a female Nicholls student who has demonstrated her outstanding ability as an artist or artisan. Nominees may include outstanding singers, musician, dancers, performers, poets, craftsman, painters, sculptors, designers, or related talents. Nominees should excel, in part, due to their love of the medium.
- Most School Spirited Male
Awarded to a male Nicholls student who has demonstrated his devotion to Nicholls through her excitement, enthusiasm and verve for all things NSU. She promotes Nicholls to all she meets and proudly gives of herself toward the benefit of Nicholls.
- Most School Spirited Female
Awarded to a female Nicholls student who has demonstrated her devotion to Nicholls through her excitement, enthusiasm and verve for all things NSU. She promotes Nicholls to all she meets and proudly gives of herself toward the benefit of Nicholls.
- Most Scholarly Male
Awarded to a male Nicholls student who has demonstrated outstanding academic success. He is a model of success to other NSU students, is thoroughly immersed in his studies, and is willing to help others achieve.
- Most Scholarly Female
Awarded to a female Nicholls student who has demonstrated outstanding academic success. She is a model of success to other NSU students, is thoroughly immersed in her studies, and is willing to help others achieve.
- Mr. Personality
Awarded to a male Nicholls student who has an outgoing personality, is likeable, and is fun to be around. Nominees should be highly sociable, extroverted, boisterous, and have never met a stranger. He enjoys being the center of attention, is fun loving, and engaging.
- Ms. Personality
Awarded to a female Nicholls student who has an outgoing personality, is likeable, and is fun to be around. Nominees should be highly sociable, extroverted, boisterous, and have never met a stranger. She enjoys being the center of attention and is fun loving.
