MACO students win department, college & national awards!
Above are the recipients of Mass Communication honors at the College of Arts and Sciences awards dinner. From left are Mary Catherine Holcomb (Outstanding Broadcast Journalism Graduate), Lauren Thompson (The Rose & Ralph Beslin Honor Award), Bivonia Jimenez (Outstanding Public Relations Graduate) and Lee Daigle (Alfred Delahaye Award to the Outstanding Mass Communication Graduate).
Bivonia Jimenez, Teresa Perry and Jessica Toups were award the highest honor a Nicholls Graduate can attain, as they were elected to the Nicholls State University Hall of Fame. There were only 10 elected, that means 30% of the Hall of Fame this year were Mass Communication majors!
