What: An Interest/Organizational Meeting

When: Friday, September 14, 2007

Time: 4M (10:45-11:40) & 5M (11:50-12:45)

Come join us for a FREE Lunch in the Captain’s Room in the cafeteria, learn about PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) and nominate new officers for 2007-2008.

All majors are welcomed. Attendees must sign up in the MACO office, Room 103 Talbot Hall.

Dues are $42 until September 14th and can be paid at the meeting. Dues are good for one year. Dues will be $50 after September 14th.

Can’t make lunch? No problem! PRSSA applications can be picked up on the bulletin board near the MACO office.

Above are the recipients of Mass Communication honors at the College of Arts and Sciences awards dinner. From left are Mary Catherine Holcomb (Outstanding Broadcast Journalism Graduate), Lauren Thompson (The Rose & Ralph Beslin Honor Award), Bivonia Jimenez (Outstanding Public Relations Graduate) and Lee Daigle (Alfred Delahaye Award to the Outstanding Mass Communication Graduate).

Bivonia Jimenez, Teresa Perry and Jessica Toups were award the highest honor a Nicholls Graduate can attain, as they were elected to the Nicholls State University Hall of Fame. There were only 10 elected, that means 30% of the Hall of Fame this year were Mass Communication majors!

Congratulations to all our Mass Communication Graduates!

Come join us for our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 4, 2007 in front of Talbot Hall!

Bring a dish and get to know your  professors on a more personal level!

Visit the Mass Communication office and let the secretary know what Mexican dish you would like to bring to the end-of-the-semester party.

The Public Relations Student Society of America will accepting new members, planning our Cinco de Mayo celebration and nominating officers for the 2007 - 2008 year.
