Students attend workshop at WDSU in New Orleans
Sixteen Mass Communication students attended a Career Workshop on October 1st at WDSU-TV in New Orleans. The event was sponsored by the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE). The students heard a panel discussion from nine top local TV broadcasters from the New Orleans area. The students also received a station tour of WDSU. [...]

Who’s Who for the 2009-2010
William Heck, Broadcast Journalism, Margaret Jones, Public Relations, and Jennifer Smith, Public Relations were three of thirteen students from the College of Arts & Sciences elected into the Who’s Who 2009 – 2010 edition.
MACO alum wins Missouri Press Association award.
STEPHANIE DETILLIER, spring 2006, who holds a teaching assistantship at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, won first place in the Missouri Press Association feature writing category for a feature she wrote for the Columbia Missourian.
