Professor Emeritus of Journalism

Dr. Alfred N. Delahaye established the Nicholls mass communication degree program in 1973 and continues to assist it in retirement. In 1983, Nicholls designated him a distinguished service professor.

He served in the Marine Corps and is a former newspaper reporter and editor. He is also the author of two books on the history of Nicholls State University.
