Health Care Management
Managing health care facilities presents unique challenges that managers in other fields may never have to face. The College of Business Administration trains students in specific coding and billing practices and accountability issues through its health care management concentration.
Health Care Management Concentration Curriculum Sheet:
This curriculum prepares students to work in the human resources field, but special attention is given to health services issues. Students take a combination of management, nursing and allied health sciences courses for a well-rounded understanding of the organizational structure and behavior of medical facilities.
The health care management concentration was developed in response to a growth in our regional health care industry. It is intended for individuals who wish to enter entry-level managerial positions in the medical field.
