Andrew Henry

Andrew Henry highly recommends the Nicholls State University marketing program to anyone interesting in pursuing a marketing career. For Henry, a solid education from Nicholls meant not having to stress over finding a job upon graduation.

Upon completion of his marketing degree in 2000, Henry applied for and excepted a product support sales representative position with Louisiana Machinery, LLC in Bossier City. He was responsible for making sales appointments on cat equipment owners fro parts and service orders. In 2002, he was transferred to the Morgan City branch to make sales appointments with caterpillar marine customers in the tri-parish area. In 2004, Henry joined The Cross Group as a sales representative for Cross Services and Cross Rentals.

“The education I received while at Nicholls was a tremendous help with my job,” Henry says. “The professional selling class with Dr. Chris Cox really helped prepare me for what I would have to face out in the ‘real world’ of outside sales.”
