New Nicholls Buses
In front of Elkins Hall yesterday, Nicholls State University student athletes boarded one of two new buses the university purchased for use by traveling student athletes and other university groups. 
The two buses were purchased for a total of $217,000, using student fees. Each bus has a secure rear cargo area, a restroom and an exterior customized with the university’s name and logo. Students and administrators took an inaugural tour of the campus on the buses, which replace the retiring Big Red I.
