Nicholls State University supporters are invited to attend the annual PRO-NSU meeting and seafood boil from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the home of Henry and Kim Lafont in Larose. The event is open to all supporters of the university. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple and free for children. Seafood, beer, soft drinks and swimming are included. Dress is casual. The home is located at 11538 Highway 1. The deadline to make reservations is Wednesday, Aug. 15. Call Eugene Dial at (985) 448-4021 or (985) 447-1875.
