Nicholls to Host Annual Management Luncheon Thursday, Nov. 1

THIBODAUX – The JPMorgan Chase Management Excellence Series luncheon, hosted by the Nicholls State University College of Business Administration and JPMorgan Chase, is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Envie Restaurant in Thibodaux.

Bill Borne, founder and chief executive officer of Amedisys Home Health Services, will be the keynote speaker at the annual luncheon. Borne, who has received numerous awards including Forbes magazine 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year award, will provide insight into what it takes to become successful in today’s business world. He’ll discuss growing a business in an industry that was once seen as a dead-end investment, preserving life balance while running a company with a $1 billion market value and retaining your company’s best asset.

Under Borne’s leadership, Amedisys has made Forbes list of 200 Best Small (sales in the $5 million to $750 million range) Companies in America for the past three years and was recently listed as no. 7 on Forbes list of fastest growing companies.

The JPMorgan Chase Management Excellence Series luncheon provides a forum for the exchange of leading-edge thought and best practices in management. Managers and supervisors from all levels of management in the private and public sectors, entrepreneurs or anyone with an interest in growing their business, should attend, said Dr. Sonya Premeaux, associate dean of the College of Business Administration at Nicholls State University.

Tickets for the luncheon are $25 per person, and reservations must be made by Monday, Oct. 29. Contact the Nicholls College of Business Administration at (985) 448-4171 for reservations.
