THIBODAUX – The University of Louisiana System awarded $14,784 to Nicholls State University on Jan. 24 as part of a multi-university program to advance student service-learning. The grant will fund two projects – an $11,319 building renovation and a $3,465 environmental initiative.

THIBODAUX – David Zerangue, coordinator of transfer student advising, assistant department head of general studies and instructor of mathematics at Nicholls State University, received $2,000 from Wal-Mart on Jan. 8 in recognition of his outstanding performance as an academic advisor.
Nicholls to receive nearly $1 million in federal funds
THIBODAUX – U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu has secured $6.1 million in energy-related funds for the State of Louisiana – $984,000 of which has been reserved for Nicholls State University.
