Nicholls issues Phase 3 alert
THIBODAUX – With the continuing approach of Hurricane Gustav, the Emergency Preparedness Committee at Nicholls State University has issued a Phase 3 alert in accordance with the 2008 Hurricane Emergency Plan, posted at http://emergency.nicholls.edu.
Evacuation of Nicholls ordered; no shelters will be available
THIBODAUX – Having received the mandatory evacuation orders issued by Lafourche Parish earlier today, the administration of Nicholls State University announced this afternoon that Nicholls students will be evacuated from the campus by 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 30.
