Veterans Day ceremonies scheduled
THIBODAUX – Veterans Day will be observed on the campus of Nicholls State University with special ceremonies on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11:40 a.m. on the Quad.

THIBODAUX – The 12th annual Bite of the Arts gala, Nicholls State University’s premier fundraising event for the John Folse Culinary Institute, is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at Cypress Columns in Gray, La.
Nov. 13 concert blends rock, pop and r&b
THIBODAUX – For the first time in a decade, the Student Programming Association of Nicholls State University is sponsoring a concert by a major performing artist. On Thursday, Nov. 13, Nicholls students and the community will have the opportunity to enjoy two national artists, Yellowcard and The Dream.
Self-esteem workshop offered
THIBODAUX – What is self-esteem? Where does it originate? How does it affect our decisions in life? In a continuing education class offered at Nicholls State University, participants will explore these questions and other issues that contribute to positive and negative feelings, behaviors and relationships.
Nicholls presents 2008 Homecoming Royalty and Court
THIBODAUX – The 2008 Homecoming Queen, King and Court of Nicholls State University were presented at the Homecoming football game against the University of Central Arkansas on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Women and Government Center announces fall institute
THIBODAUX – The Louisiana Center for Women and Government will host its fall leadership institute in Baton Rouge on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14 and 15. “Strategic Command: Tactics that Win,” is the theme.
