Bowling for scholarships

The $600 donation was presented by JoAnn Faslund (left) and Beverly Salassi, members of the Lafourche Parish United States Bowling Congress, on Dec. 3. The purpose of the annual scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a deserving full-time student enrolled at Nicholls. The recipient, who will receive $300 for the fall and spring semesters – or $600 total – must be a sanctioned bowler or family member of a sanctioned bowler and maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
