THIBODAUX – On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the School of Fine Arts – Division of Music will present a Monster Piano Concert in celebration of Nicholls’ 60th anniversary. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by the 7 p.m. concert. Dessert and coffee service will be available following the performance.

The concert will feature faculty, alumni and students simultaneously performing on five pianos. The musicians will perform a specially commissioned work based on the Nicholls Alma Mater and composed by Stuart Folse, a Nicholls graduate and former member of the music faculty.

Tickets are $60 per person and are available in the Office of Institutional Advancement, located in Picciola Hall, or by calling Ext. 4005. A limited number of student tickets are available for $10 apiece – Nicholls student identification required.
