Residence halls & La Maison to reopen at 6 p.m. Sept. 12

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will reopen all residence halls and La Maison du Bayou Apartments at 6 p.m. today.University officials have determined that Hurricane Ike is no longer a threat to campus. Therefore, beginning at 6 p.m. today, on-campus resident students can return to their residence halls or La Maison and commuter students can return to their off-campus housing.The Vernon F. Galliano Dining Hall will be open for food service throughout the weekend.

Until further notice, the university will continue to provide bottled water to students who reside on campus for personal hygiene needs and consumption.

Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, Sept. 15.
