Commuter and residence hall students who do not have alternative accommodations may report to the Bollinger Memorial Student Union starting at 7 p.m. tonight. Meal service and sleeping accommodations will be afforded to these students.
Once it is determined that the storm is no longer a threat to campus, on-campus resident students will be notified that they can return to their residence halls or La Maison and commuter students will be notified that they can return to off-campus housing.
On another note, university administration has been notified by the State of Louisiana that the City of Thibodaux water supply should not be used for washing hands, showering, or consumption. As a result, bottled water will be provided to students who are housed in the Student Union for personal hygiene needs and consumption.
All Friday classes are canceled; however Thursday evening classes are not canceled. Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, Sept. 15.
