Sugar professionals converge at Nicholls
THIBODAUX – The 25th Annual Raw Cane Sugar Manufacturers’ Institute kicks off this week at Nicholls State University – and its companion course, the 32nd Annual Cane Sugar Refiners’ Institute, is slated for Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 31.

Columbine survivor to address Nicholls academy
THIBODAUX – Craig Scott, a survivor of the Columbine High School massacre that left 15 dead and more than 20 wounded, will serve as keynote speaker at the Louisiana Girls’ Leadership Academy – a program conducted at Nicholls State University for girls entering the 8th through 11th grades.
