THIBODAUX – The 25th Annual Raw Cane Sugar Manufacturers’ Institute kicks off this week at Nicholls State University – and its companion course, the 32nd Annual Cane Sugar Refiners’ Institute, is slated for Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 31.

THIBODAUX – Craig Scott, a survivor of the Columbine High School massacre that left 15 dead and more than 20 wounded, will serve as keynote speaker at the Louisiana Girls’ Leadership Academy – a program conducted at Nicholls State University for girls entering the 8th through 11th grades.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the spring 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average between 3.0 and 3.199 have been named to the honor roll of their respective college.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the spring 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average between 3.2 and 3.499 have been named to the dean’s list of their respective college.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the spring 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average of 3.5 or higher have been named to the president’s list of their respective college.

THIBODAUX – Nineteen vocalists – including active members and alumni of the Nicholls State University Concert Choir – will join other singers from around the country on Sunday, June 14, to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
