THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University’s 85th commencement – held on campus Saturday, Dec. 12 – awarded more degrees to more graduates than any commencement in the university’s history. Nicholls to close for holidays
THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will close for the Christmas holidays at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, and reopen Monday, Jan. 4, 2010.

THIBODAUX – Ken Wells, Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist and author – and a native of Bayou Black – will be the keynote speaker Saturday, Dec. 12, when Nicholls State University confers about 650 degrees during commencement exercises in Stopher Gymnasium.
