Trahan and Mistretta are both Nicholls graduates with Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry.

“It is very rewarding to see our graduates experience success in the business world,” Boudreaux said. “It is a special reward when they give back to the university in such a meaningful and generous manner. Their gift of this scholarship will give other young students the opportunity to experience similar success in the future.”

According to the agreement, Chemtech will pay the Nicholls Foundation the total amount for tuition and fees. The university scholarship committee will select the recipient of the scholarship award using the criteria agreed upon between Nicholls and Chemtech.
