THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will continue to permit public parking in designated areas on the Thibodaux campus during the upcoming carnival season. In addition to free parking, the university has added two pay-to-park options.

THIBODAUX – College-bound students are invited to Financial Aid Night at Nicholls State University, slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, in the Cotillion Ballroom of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

THIBODAUX – The Louisiana Center for Dyslexia and Related Learning Disorders at Nicholls State University will host its second annual conference on Saturday, Jan. 30, in the Bollinger Memorial Student Union.

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University’s acting troupe, the Nicholls Players, will hold auditions for its spring semester play, “The Diviners,” on Monday, Jan. 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Talbot Theater. The script calls for six men and five women.

THIBODAUX – Two faculty members from Nicholls State University received monetary awards from Wal-Mart on Thursday, Jan. 14, in recognition of their outstanding performance as academic advisors.

THIBODAUX – The Nicholls State University Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services has announced the recipients of the 17th annual Quality Achievement Awards, recognizing the most outstanding employees of 2009 in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the fall 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average between 3.2 and 3.499 have been named to the dean’s list of their respective college.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the fall 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average between 3.0 and 3.199 have been named to the honor roll of their respective college.

THIBODAUX – Undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Nicholls State University during the fall 2009 semester who maintained a scholastic grade point average of 3.5 or higher have been named to the president’s list of their respective college.
