THIBODAUX— The Nicholls State University family mourns Nathan Scott Trepagnier, who died Saturday, Sept. 25, as a result of injuries received in a vehicle accident. Trepagnier was a 19-year-old sophomore history major from Metairie, La.

The Department of Music at Nicholls State University hosted the third annual Monster Piano Concert on Tuesday, Sept. 21, in Talbot Hall Theater on campus.

Dr. Allyse Ferrara and Dr. Quenton Fontenot, associate professors of biological sciences at Nicholls State University, explain the importance of a beach fence for building sand dunes to protect beach and marsh vegetation on Friday, Sept. 17.

Renovations to the entrance of Ellender Memorial Library at Nicholls State University were largely completed Wednesday, Sept. 15.

THIBODAUX – The geomatics program at Nicholls State University was fully accredited last month by the Applied Science Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc., the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology.
