Nicholls Concert Choir to present free show for Holy Week

THIBODAUX – The Nicholls State University Concert Choir will present “A Concert for Holy Week” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church of Houma, 6109 Highway 311. Nicholls string program’s first graduate to perform Friday

THIBODAUX – Christiano Rodrigues, a senior violin major from João Pessoa, Brazil – and soon to be the first graduate of the four-year-old string program at Nicholls State University – will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 15, in Talbot Hall Theater. Nicholls to host 40 agencies at inaugural public safety expo

Public invited to family-friendly event

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will host the first-ever Bayou Region Public Safety Expo on Saturday April 16, in the John L. Guidry Stadium parking area. Free and open to the public, the five-hour, family-friendly event will begin at 10 a.m. with more than 40 public safety agencies offering hands-on education and interaction.
