Shanghai chefs study American cuisine at Nicholls
THIBODAUX – The John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University is hosting 12 visiting chefs from Shanghai, China, this week – the first half of a cultural immersion program to be completed later this year when Chef George Kaslow, associate professor of culinary arts, is slated to visit eastern China.

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University held commencement exercises Saturday, May 14, awarding 581 degrees to students who completed coursework during the spring semester.
Nicholls to adjust work hours for summer
THIBODAUX – In an effort to reduce costs by conserving energy, Nicholls State University will modify its work schedule during the summer months – replacing the current posted hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This will be the third summer that Nicholls has taken this cost-saving step.

THIBODAUX – For the second consecutive year, all of Nicholls State University’s 14 sports programs have performed above academic standard, according to information released today by the National Collegiate Athletic Association on the academic progress rates of nearly 6,300 Division I teams.

Nicholls spring commencement scheduled for May 14
THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University will hold commencement exercises Saturday, May 14, in Stopher Gymnasium, where approximately 600 degrees will be conferred.
