The 16th annual Sponsor A+ Scholar Wine and Food Extravaganza at Nicholls State University, held Wednesday, Oct. 12, attracted nearly 730 guests and generated more than $33,000 for Nicholls students with outstanding grades and leadership ability.

THIBODAUX – Nicholls State University’s acting troupe, the Nicholls Players, will offer four public performances of “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” later this month as part of Homecoming Week.

THIBODAUX – Homecoming Week at Nicholls State University is slated to kick off Sunday, Oct. 16. Themed “One Team, One Goal: 40 Years of Colonel Football,” the annual festival will include several activities, most of which are open to the public and many of which are free of charge.

THIBODAUX – The Louisiana Center for Women and Government, headquartered at Nicholls State University, invites the public to “Dancing with the Stars of the South” Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. Headlining the celebrity guest list is Mario Lopez, “Dancing with the Stars” finalist and host of “America’s Best Dance Crew.”
